Changing My Website

Well, I have been working on my website a good deal this week. I must admit, this is proving to be harder than I first anticipated. I am converting my website (http://www.clarkproduction.com/) from all Flash to a combination with Flash and HTML. It is a pretty long process, but I am very happy with the results so far. I won't upload the official site for at least a week more. Though, who knows, I may get it finished first.

Of course, I am a Photographer first, so it does come first and foremost. Speaking of wedding photography, Anna and I were able to attend the Chattanooga Professional Photographer's Guild this week. I do like meeting other professional photographers and getting to speak with them about their techniques and styles. It is very exciting to be wedding photographers in Chattanooga. Though, we do extend our area that we cover to Georgia, Alabama, and all of Tennessee.

We are wanting to become involved in our local photographic society (Chattanooga photographic society). We've been here for three months now, so we figure it is about time.

Oh, one last thing, we decided on a slogan today for Clark Production Photography. I think it fits our style and approach just right. It is "Capturing Memories, Capturing Life, Creating Art."

I could write volumes about this - but, it really does say exactly what we intend to do. When we are shooting a wedding, we are not simply taking pictures. We have much more passion about wedding photography than that. To us, it is a sacred event - a one-time event - a special event - something that should not be forgotten - it is something great indeed. So, when we take pictures at a wedding, we are not simply taking pictures - rather, we are capturing memories. We are capturing true moments - real smiles, real laughs, real tears. Everything we are photographing is real. We are capturing life. And with this, we always try to capture it in a way that it is art. We truly believe that in wedding photography, at least with our wedding photography, we are creating works of art. We are creating something people will look at for years to come. It should be unique - it should be special - it should be a work of art.

I can go on, but suffice to say, we really do enjoy wedding photography. We feel honored to be at every wedding we attend.
