Creating Our New Website!

Hi Everyone!I'm currently working on our website and thought I'd share so that you can follow along with its development. I haven't done this in the past - typically, I only show the finished version. However, I think it might be something neat for others to follow and see the changes being made as it progresses. The progression will be rather fast. We already have the pages created, more or less, and now I am assembling the site in Flash.Note: You may need to hit refresh once the site comes up in your browser for it to display correctly ... as long as it in alpha stage. To see the alpha (pre-beta ... aka, shouldn't be working) site, go to http://www.annaandspencer.com/newwebsite/alpha1.swfHere's a screenshot of this phase:Alpha Website PhotographI'll update this post as the progression continues. Feel free to leave comments!- Spencer ClarkAnna and Spencer PhotographyEdit #1:Here's Alpha 2: http://www.annaandspencer.com/newwebsite/alpha2.swfAlpha Website Number Two Atlanta Wedding PhotographersEdit#2:Here's Alpha 3 - I've moved on to making the intro slideshow work. You may recognize the images in this one - they are from the top of our blog! I'm working on the photograph placement next and pulling the correct photographs. This was to test the timing and concept with the music. Wahoo!  .... oh, one other note, the loader is still there, but at this point, you probably won't see it. I took out the photographs that allowed the loader to be seen - aka, have something to load. Now the total size of the website is around 10kb.Alpha3 Website | Atlanta Wedding PhotographersEdit#3:Here's Alpha 4 - Now I am testing the placement of the photogrpahs. The photographs there are not the final ones - just some I had in the website folder already. It's starting to look like a real website! The next alpha (alpha 5) will have actual functionality!Atlanta Wedding Photographers | Alpha Site 4Edit #4:Wow, getting these buttons to work took longer than it should. As you can see, it is now a somewhat functional site now ... it now will go to different pages anyway. I still need to add in content and make each page unique. Oh, and make a custom image browser. This is actually pretty fun to me. I should mention, Anna did all of the frame-by-frame drawings that you see ... and the design ... and the buttons ... I'm just making everything work and be a bit smaller k/b-wise. On to making this site great!Atlanta Wedding Photographers | Alpha Site 5
