Gearing Up For May - Dominican Republic, Chattanooga, Atlanta, & Hilton Head

Hi Everyone!!!

So, I know, we've been awfully quiet lately on the blog - but for good reason!! We're working feverishly to get all of the editing done for any previously shot weddings or engagement sessions. So, be looking for your photographs to be on Pictage soon if they aren't already up. :)

Also, we've been gearing up (literally) for the weddings coming up. The first we have is close by at the Hunter Museum on May 4th. It will be sooo great! Morgan with Soirees is helping plan the event (Soirees is one of the best wedding planning groups in Chattanooga). We've been looking forward to this wedding for months! Lauren & David, the bride & groom, are absolutely wonderful and have such an artistic side - we can't wait to photograph their wedding! (Ok, well, we can't wait to photograph any of the weddings we have booked - we are actually excited about every single couple's wedding. :) )

Ok, so, the morning after Lauren & David's wedding, we're flying out to the Dominican Republic! To be specific, Punta Cana. We'll be shooting three weddings during the week we'll be there - this blog will be pretty full of photographs and slideshows! We're really excited about this! Naomi & Christine are also doing day after/trash the dress sessions with us - the shots from this will be GREAT. Here's a map - Punta Cana is the city on the far right

Dominican Republic

So, for this trip, we've started to literally gear up. While we've been working on the photobooth & website design (sorry, there's not enough time to set it up and take a photograph at the moment - just trust me, it'll look GOOD), we've also been purchasing small additions to our arsenal of gear. Specifically, a few things that'll help drastically - an iLugger iMac Bag, a "Little Guy" (our name for it) 160Gb External Harddrive, and a brand new Pelican Case. All of these items can be taken on the plane as carry-ons. :) It'll make taking everything overseas MUCH easier. Some quick images: Pelican Case - iLugger - our "Little Guy" harddrive (really, it is just larger than a pack of playing cards):

Well, I need to get back to editing now. Thanks so much for reading!  Be checking our blog next week - it'll be full of wonderful Photographs from the Hunter Museum & Punta Cana!
