Wii Fit! Our new exercise program
Hi Everyone,So, we purchased wii fit two days ago now. I happened to be in a store picking up an item for ourphotobooth (the dual 7" lcd screens) and saw that wii fit was selling like hot cakes! The storehad roughly five employees constantly handing them out as people came up and asked forwii fit. So, while I was there, I figured I might as well get one - by the looks of it they wouldhave been sold out by the end of the day.
So, I didn't really have high expectations for wii fit. I mean, it is meant to keep you in shape. And,even on it keeping one in shape and helping them loose weight (or gain weight in our case) hasbeen debated all over the internet ever since it came out in Japan. Ok, yes, I admit it, I wasreading the Japanese reviews since it came out to see if it would be something Anna and Iwould be interested in getting.

Anyway, it turns out - it is actually really fun! And, now that I am officially on the third day,I can clearly say - I am SORE. My abs, arms, and legs ache in the 'getting stronger' way. I reallydidn't expect to feel results this quickly from wii fit. On top of this, the activities are actuallyfun! Even the Yoga can get you having a good time. Oh, I should mention the four areas oftraining - Yoga, Strength Training, Aerobics, and Balance Games. All of which are definitelychallenging - at least to me. The Balance Games are actually fun and definitely can get melaughing when almost falling over and competing with anna on balance (she is much betterthan I am with balance at the moment).

Oh, also, in the short course of three days now, I can already see a difference in my center ofbalance - according to the wii anyway. The balance games actually have become easier to me.It is working!! So, if you are considering getting wii fit, I'd say go for it! We're doing 30 minutes of exercise aday and it is working well for us.
