Carrie and Alex | January 31, 2009 | Engagement Session on Jekyll Island
Hi Everyone!!!Anna and I had a GREAT shoot this past weekend with Carrie and Alex on Jekyll Island, Ga. It was an absolutely gorgeous, clear, and sunny day (finally!) ... though, a bit on the chilly side. We've been looking forward to their shoot for sometime. We're thrilled with the results. Enjoy!

This is one of the first shots from the day - it is great!
Yay for windows!
So, we came across this dappled sunlight when we were walking to the driftwood beach. AMAZING. Anna captured this shot (ok, and a series of others) with ease. ... I believe she's using the 24-70 2.8L lens here along with the 5D Mark II.
I was a bit closer with the 50 1.2L and one of our 5D's.
Driftwood Beach!
Ok, so, at this point, I had climbed up on a piece of driftwood ... really a small tree. I really liked the angle here.
Ha, me in a tree! Anna got this shot. Too much fun! Ha, you should have seen me getting out of the tree ... Alex had to help me down. It was pretty hilarious.
I was sooo surprised Carrie and Alex went in the water. It resulted in some GREAT shots - but wow, it was cold! Carrie and Alex - you guys are great!
Love the reflections.
We LOVE this tree ... and the fact that Alex and Carrie actually climbed up in it! They are a good 8-10' off the ground there.
We got this on our way back to the Element. It was gorgeous sunlight.
Back at the ruins on Jekyll! We wanted to capture a few photographs with different lighting here.
